It’s you, it’s me, we’re all fidget monkeys. That’s what we do, fidget with mobiles, computers, cars, clothes, and body parts to name but a few.

Of all the apes we’ll be the ones remembered for our fidgeting, fiddling and playing with things. ‘You wouldn’t let it lie’ is the phrase that springs to mind. Sometime in the future when they redraw the man’s evolutionary development, instead of head up walking forward, we’ll be pictured standing still, with our head bowed to the mobile in our hands.
